Doug Swanson has served as a Class III director since the acquisition of Hydraulic Well Control by the Company on March 3 2006. Mr. Swanson serves as a Class III director for a term that will expire on the date of our annual meeting of stockholders scheduled in 2009. Mr. Swanson was elected Chairman of the board by our board of directors on November 6 2006. Mr. Swanson was appointed as president and chief executive officer of Oil States International Inc. in January 2000. He resigned his position as President of Oil States in May 2006 and he resigned his position as Chief Executive Officer of Oil States on April 30 2007. Oil States International Inc. a diversified oilfield services company that is a leading manufacturer of products for deepwater production facilities and subsea pipelines and is a leading supplier of a broad range of services to the oil and gas industry including production-related rental tools work force accommodations and logistics oil country tubular goods distribution and land drilling services. Oil States is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol OIS. Mr. Swanson remains a director of Oil States. Prior to joining Oil States Mr. Swanson served as president and chief executive officer of Cliffs Drilling Company a contract drilling company from January 1992 to August 1999. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
