Doug Lefferson was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of First Financial Bancorp in April of 2005. Earlier, he had been promoted to executive vice president and chief financial office in December of 2004, to senior vice president and chief financial officer of First Financial Bancorp in January of 2002, and to first vice president and comptroller in November of 1998.
Lefferson previously served as vice president and chief financial officer of First Financial Bank, the lead bank in First Financial Bancorp. He joined First Financial Bank in 1986 as a management trainee and worked as staff auditor before moving to the Accounting Department as a staff accountant. He was promoted to accounting supervisor in 1990, to accounting officer in 1992, to assistant vice president and comptroller in 1993, to vice president and comptroller in 1996, and to vice president and chief financial officer in 1997.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance at Miami University, Lefferson earned his master's degree in business administration at Xavier University. He is also a graduate of the Ohio Bankers Association’s Ohio School of Banking.
A member of the board of directors of Middletown Area Junior Achievement, he is also active in the Williamsburg Junior Athletic Association. He has also volunteered with the United Way, various school programs, and zoning boards throughout his career.
Lefferson resides in Williamsburg with his wife Gretchen and their two daughters. |
