Doug Kittenbrink became Executive Vice President, ATI Business System and Group President, Engineered Products Segment in October 2003. He leads the implementation of the ATI Business System, oversees capital projects, chairs the ATI Labor Relations Committee, and coordinates ATI’s European growth strategy.
Previously, Mr. Kittenbrink was Chief Operating Officer of Allegheny Technologies. Prior to that, he was President of Allegheny Ludlum. Mr. Kittenbrink joined Allegheny Technologies in 1992 as Vice President of Engineering for Allegheny Ludlum and has been given increasing levels of responsibility during his career. Prior to becoming President of Allegheny Ludlum, he was Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Engineering, Information Technology and Production Control. Mr. Kittenbrink is a member of the Board of Directors of Uniti Titanium, a joint venture between Allegheny Technologies and VSMPO-AVISMA. He is also a member of the Iron and Steel Society and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Iron and Steel Engineers having served as chairman of the Project Management Division in 1995. He is a 1977 graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and graduated from the University of Chicago with an MBA in 1982. |
