Upon leaving the United States Navy in 1975 as an Engineer, Doug continued his career in tech engineering for six years, then began a career in sales with IPC through the nineteen eighties. Doug then moved on to become President and Partner of Datura Corporation, which was a software manufacturer of DBA Tools. His company was acquired by Platinum Technologies out of Chicago, where he spent the next five years as the Vice President and Director of the Richmond Office, until June of 1999, Platinum Technologies was acquired by Computer Associates. |
