Don is a Member of Brown Smith Wallace with more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner in a national CPA firm. In addition to his expertise in auditing, accounting and business advisory services. Don has a strong background in: Financial planning Litigation support Insurance claims Management consulting At Brown Smith Wallace, Don is co-leader of the firms’ audit and accounting practice and concentrates his practice in the manufacturing and distribution, service, nonprofit and construction industries. He also has provided services to banks and has performed field investigation services. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, Don is specially trained to gather evidence, take statements, write reports and assist in investigating fraud.He also has experience in fraud detection and prevention techniques and has presented several seminars in these areas. Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a member of the following organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Also a strong community servant, he currently serves on the board of directors of several not-for-profit organizations. |
