Donald Colvin joined ON Semiconductor in March 2003. With over 25 years of experience in the management of finance and accounting operations for global semiconductor companies, Mr. Colvin is leading ON Semiconductor's finance department.
Mr. Colvin came to ON Semiconductor from Atmel Corporation - a manufacturer of advanced semiconductors - where he served as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer since 1998. Prior to this, he served as Chief Financial Officer for a subsidiary of Atmel.
Between 1985 and 1995, Mr. Colvin held various positions with European Silicon Structures (ES2) and was Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1995. While with Motorola Semiconductors Europe between 1977 and 1985 Mr. Colvin held various financial management positions in the U.K. , Switzerland and France .
Mr. Colvin holds a B.A. (Honors) in Economics and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde . He serves as a member of the board of directors of Applied Micro Circuits Corporation. |
