Donald W. Stinnett is the Chief Financial Officer - Eastern Group of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA, the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services. He is responsible for HCA’s operations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, which currently include approximately 58 hospitals with annual net revenues of $8 billion.
Stinnett began his career with HCA in 1999 when he was named CFO of the company’s Far West Division. Prior to joining HCA, he served as CFO and Vice President of Finance for the Franciscan Health System of the Ohio Valley in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to joining Franciscan Sisters, he was a senior auditor at Deloitte Haskins & Sells.
Stinnett is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is involved in numerous professional organizations, including being a member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association.
Stinnett is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Xavier University. He and his wife Beth reside in Franklin and have two sons. He was born on March 12, 1956.
