Donald Janssen, a Managing Director of Evan Scott Group International, has over 25 years of experience in executive search, sales and sales management. For the past ten years, he has recruited senior executives for businesses ranging from early stage to Fortune 100 companies. His industry strengths include security, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and federal, state, and local government. Most recently, he has focused primarily on the security industry, placing professionals in biometric identification technology companies, including senior positions such as U.S. sales, business development, government sales, and product development. During his career, Mr. Janssen provided search services both as an internal recruiter and as an executive recruiter. He has managed worldwide recruiting organizations and processes while leading diversity task forces. Mr. Janssen was a Principal at Wellington Management Group, and prior to that, Vice President in the Consulting and Information Technology Practice of Howard Fischer Associates International. At both retained search firms, he placed senior management in a wide variety of functional areas. Before entering the search industry, Mr. Janssen led worldwide recruiting for the $1 billion Information Services Group of Unisys Corporation. He established global recruiting procedures for hiring approximately 1,500 consultants annually. The consultants covered diverse service lines such as strategy, business process reengineering, systems integration and outsourcing. While in this position, Mr. Janssen championed the broadening of Unisys's workforce as its diversity task force chairperson. Earlier in his career, Mr. Janssen sold Unisys's mainframe computer systems, application software and professional services to Fortune 500 companies. He rose from salesman to Regional Vice President where he had full profit-and-loss responsibility for the $140 million business unit. He was distinguished by his client relationship management approach resulting in long-term satisfied customers. Mr. Janssen earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Moorhead University, Moorhead, Minnesota. He was an active member of Philadelphia Mayor Edward Rendell's Private Sector Task Force on Productivity and Improvement in 1992 and 1993.
