Donald Layton was elected as a director at Assured Guaranty Ltd.'s 2006 annual general meeting on May 5 2006. Prior to his retirement in 2004 Mr. Layton worked at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. most recently as Vice Chairman and a member of its three person Office of the Chairman. Previously Mr. Layton had been Co-Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan the investment bank of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. Mr. Layton is a senior advisor to the Bond Market Association a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s International Capital Markets Advisory Committee and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Visiting Committee for Economics. Mr. Layton also serves on t he Boards of the Partnership for the Homeless the International Executive Service Corps and the Foreign Policy Association. |
