Dr. Kuhla has served as a director since 1991. From 1998 to January 2004 Dr. Kuhla was president and chief operating officer of Albany Molecular Research Inc. a chemical contract research organization. Dr. Kuhla continues to serve AMRI as a director. From 1994 through 1998 Dr. Kuhla was vice president of Plexus Ventures Inc. a business consulting firm. From 1990 to 1994 Dr. Kuhla held senior management positions with two venture capital-backed biotechnology startup companies. His early career was spent in research and development and operations management positions with Pfizer Inc. and Rorer Group Inc. his last position at Rorer being senior vice president of operations. Dr. Kuhla received a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Ohio State University. |
