Donald E. Kiernan became a member of our Board in April 2003. Mr. Kiernan is the retired Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SBC Communications, where he served for 11 years until his retirement in 2001 and was responsible for all of SBC’s financial affairs. Prior to joining SBC, Mr. Kiernan was a partner with Arthur Young & Co., the predecessor of Ernst & Young LLP, where he held several positions over his 20-year tenure, including head of the firm’s management consulting practice in Florida and both Audit-Coordinating Partner and Managing Partner of the firm’s St. Louis office. Mr. Kiernan is also a member of the Boards of Directors of LaBranche and Company, Inc., Health Management Associates, Inc., and Money Gram International. |
