Donald C. Garaventi, Effective with the March 19, 2001 merger of Nonlinear Dynamics and NovoDynamics, Mr. Garaventi became President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of the combined company, and in April 2005 he became CEO and Chairman of the Board. Prior to this, Mr. Garaventi spent the majority of his career at Rohm & Haas where, as Vice President and Business Group Director, he led the Polymers, Resins and Monomers business unit to sales of $2 billion and after-tax profits of $200 million. Following his retirement from Rohm & Haas Mr. Garaventi was President of Diversa Corp, a biotech company. In January 2000 he joined Catalytica Advanced Technologies, Inc. as Business Manager for Catalytica NovoTec before moving on to NovoDynamics. Mr. Garaventi received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University. |
