As Vice President of Human Resources, Don Troudy is responsible for the worldwide human resource programs of Metagenics. Mr. Troudy has over 20 years of corporate human resources experience having held senior human resources and risk management positions in both private and public companies. His areas of human resources expertise include employee relations, staffing, benefits, organizational development, and training.
Mr. Troudy began his human resources career at Knott's Berry Farm, North America's oldest theme amusement park located in Buena Park, California. Mr. Troudy spent 14 years at Knott's and managed the Human Resources and Safety/Risk Management Departments. He also served as one of the amusement park's operations managers.
In 1998, Mr. Troudy became the Director of Human Resources & Training for Pacific Theatres, a division of Decurion Corporation. Located in Los Angeles, California, Pacific Theatres is one of the west coast's largest movie exhibition and real estate companies with operations in California, Hawaii, and Europe. During his tenure, the company opened 26 new theatres including Arc Light Cinemas. Mr. Troudy had responsibility for human resources administration, labor relations, employee training, and organizational development.
In 2001, Mr. Troudy joined PacifiCare as Executive Director of PacifiCare of California. PacifiCare is a $12 billion provider of healthcare and prescription drug services to healthcare consumers. Mr. Troudy directed the strategic human resource programs and employee relations services for the company's California based employees.
Prior to joining Metagenics, Mr. Troudy then joined the management team of Alorica as Director of Human Resources. This Chino, California based company is a worldwide provider of CRM services to the consumer electronics' industry. During his tenure, the company added several call centers and expanded its operations in Europe, Japan, and the Philippines.
Mr. Troudy is a graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport where he earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and his New York state Secondary Teaching Credential. He also received his Master's Degree with honors in Business Administration and Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. |
