Mr. Shimer has over 20 years experience as an investment banker and corporate executive. As an investment banker his transaction experience includes public and private equity and debt offerings (domestic and foreign), initial public offerings, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate advisory services. Prior to joining Wood Warren, he was President of Dames & Moore Ventures, a subsidiary of Dames & Moore Group and Vice President, International Business, GlobalCenter, a subsidiary of Global Crossing. Mr. Shimer's responsibilities included corporate acquisitions, post-closing integration, investments in operating entities and management of subsequent financial performance. Mr. Shimer is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles and holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. |
