Mr. Don Olender is Chief Financial Officer of SET Corporation. Prior to joining SET, Don served as President of Olender and Associates, a Financial Consulting firm providing outsourced CFO services to high tech start-up companies. Don founded Olender and Associates after serving as CFO of Prominence Networks, and Skyway Partners, which he joined after leaving Sarnoff Corporation where he served as Controller for thirteen years. During his tenure at Sarnoff, Don was instrumental in launching 10 high-tech subsidiaries, achieving $200+ million in total market value and transitioning Sarnoff Corporation from a cost center to a profitable corporation. Don also has significant experience in establishing international businesses by starting up subsidiaries in Europe and the Far East and creating business systems, transfer pricing, forward exchange contracts and tax deferral techniques for over 30 international subsidiaries for Fortune 500 companies such as Rorer Group and Cooper Technicon. Don’s finance experience includes business modeling and forecasting, creative financing techniques, tax planning, financial reporting, government accounting and business systems. Don commenced his accounting experience with Deloitte Touche and is an active Certified Public Accountant holding a B.S. in Accounting from Drexel University. Don is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Accountants. |
