Mr. Perkins is a Managing Partner and founding member of Zon Capital Partners. Mr. Perkins began his career more than twenty years ago with a primary focus on management consulting and general management in large worldwide enterprises. He has been in the private equity field over ten years. Prior to joining Zon Capital, Mr. Perkins was a partner and founder of Zon Partners an early stage investment and consulting company and the predecessor to the Fund. Zon Partners was responsible for venture transactions that resulted in several liquidity events for the firm's investors. Mr. Perkins began his career with McKinsey and Company in Pittsburgh and London. Later he joined GE where he led Corporate Business Development team focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions activities before moving to the position of General Manager of Sales & Marketing with GE Silicones. Mr. Perkins then joined AlliedSignal and headed Business Development as a Vice President in their Automotive Sector, where he led a merger to create a $1 Billion European automotive aftermarket parts business. Mr. Perkins sits on the boards of Avo Photonics, Beta Zone and DFT Microsystems and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson and earned his MBA at the Wharton School. |
