Mr. Nelson Tenure with Crosland Since 2007 Professional Experience In her role as development associate for Crosland’s Residential division, Dionne executes development activities from conceptualization through construction, focusing primarily on affordable housing. Key responsibilities include controlling and acquiring sites, conducting feasibility studies, retaining and managing design professionals, obtaining project financing, gaining entitlements and regulatory approvals, and supervising general contractor activities during project construction. Prior to joining Crosland, Dionne managed public and private investments at NewSchools Venture Fund in Boston and Earnest Partners in Atlanta. At NewSchools, Dionne recommended investments in and provided management assistance to organizations focused on improving public education. At Earnest Partners, Dionne led research and investments in consumer industry equities. Additionally, she marketed the firm’s products to prospective institutional clients growing the company’s assets under management. She began her experience in financial services as an investment banking analyst in corporate finance at Salomon Brothers in New York. Dionne also worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company in the Chicago and Atlanta offices, where she advised clients on strategy, organization and operations. |
