A 40 year veteran of the information technology industry, Mr. Williams' career has spanned sales, marketing and senior product, finance, and business management positions at IBM; president and CEO of Digital Research, where he accomplished a complete turn-around and a successful sale of the company to Novell; head of worldwide sales and support for Novell, and General Manager of the Digital Research Systems Group; president and CEO of Illustra Information Technologies; and co-founder and chairman of Quokka Sports, an interactive sports media company which achieved a successful IPO in 1999. In 2001 Mr. Williams was recruited by the board of Wily Technology to become their President and CEO. Wily is recognized as the market leader for Web Application Management and enjoys a commanding market position. Following the acquisition of Wily by CA in March 2006, Mr. Williams was named senior vice president and general manager of CA's Wily Technology Division with full responsibility for the Wily business. |
