Diane Suitt Gilleland is an associate professor of higher education at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. She served as deputy director of the Illinois Board of Higher Education from 1999 to 2003; senior associate for the Institute for Higher Education Policy from 1998 to 1999; senior fellow of the American Council on Education in 1997; director of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education from 1990 to 1997; and CFO for the Arkansas Department of Higher Education from 1986 to 1990. Ms.Gilleland serves on the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Foundation Board and the University of Arkansas Foundation Board.
