Ms. Nardi focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract actions, intellectual property matters, health care regulatory matters, partnership disputes and federal civil RICO defense. Through her work with the New York chapter of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and in conjunction with the Firm's Center for the Public Interest, she also provides legal assistance, on a pro bono basis, to artists who are unable to afford private counsel.
Representative Matters
o Successfully defended a New York health care entity in a third party health care payor arbitration, recovering full payments for the institution.
o Successfully defended a major corporation in a multi-party premises liability action.
o Successfully dismissed all claims against a large lending institution in a multi-million dollar lender liability action.
o Prosecuted trademark and copyright infringement claims on behalf of jewelry designer/manufacturer. After moving for a preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order, the defendant agreed to a consent order enjoining defendant's infringement.
o Successfully dismissed all claims against a property owner in a civil RICO action brought by the general contractor.
