Mrs. Dian Vieselmeyer serves as a training associate for the Retention Management System while directing academic advising at Concordia University Irvine (CA). There she has designed a developmental freshman advising and retention program, teaches all freshman sections of an orientation course, and serves as an academic advisor. Mrs. Vieselmeyer's areas of expertise include developmental education, developmental advising, and application of developmental studies theory to college student programs. She is also an associate professor in the School of Education, where she teaches a required accreditation course for junior high school and high school teachers in California. Her unique perspective serves as a foundation for student development throughout the campus community. Mrs. Vieselmeyer earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree in education and is engaged in doctoral work in education leadership/higher education at the University of Southern California. |
