As Director of Operations at Lab49, Dhaval Joshi currently handles all operations in New York as well as leading several new business development and growth initiatives. Dhaval brings extensive experience in the technology consulting space, and brings diverse expertise to Lab49 in the field of operations, sales, human resources, team building and sales & marketing. Dhaval was instrumental in starting Corpus’ Financial Services practice, which was later integrated into Lab49.
Prior to Lab49, Dhaval was with Mascon, a global IT services firm, where Dhaval co-created and led a practice focused on e-business solutions. At Mascon, Dhaval was responsible for various aspects from sales and marketing to project and practice management. While at Mascon, he served on advisory boards of various starts-ups. Prior to Mascon, Dhaval was with Interspan, serving as a Product Manager for this start-up software firm, Dhaval led a development and sales team, dramatically improving the product and sales within a short duration.
Dhaval started his career at Doculabs, a research and technology consultancy focused on electronic document management and workflow technologies, where he spent majority of his time performing technology research and consulting with Fortune 500 firms grappling with issues around automating business processes with innovative technologies. Dhaval has co-authored & published numerous articles on document management and mass-storage technologies, including a book on storage technologies.
Dhaval holds a bachelors in Information Systems & Marketing from University of Illinois at Chicago. |
