You'll be hard-pressed to find a corner in this year's draft that tested better in Indy. He's got unbelievable feet and he's very fast. He can jump out of the building. He's very good when the play is in front. He's outstanding on special teams. He's a very good gunner. He's blocked kicks and with his size and speed, he's a tremendous value in the latter half of the 6th round."
College Career:
2005: Named All-Mountain West honorable mention as a junior, leading a defense that finished 1st in the conference in pass defense (207.4 ypg)...Posted 47 tackles, including 32 solo, 3.5 TFL and a sack (-6 yards)...Also had 7 PD and 3 INTs as a senior...Martin added a 26-yard KO return.
2004: Earned All-Mountain West Conference 2nd-team honors as a sophomore...Started all 12 games and finished 4th on the team with a career-high 60 tackles (43 solo), 4.5 TFL and 1 sack (-10 yards)...Martin also led the team with a career-high 17 PD and returned 5 KOs for 109 yards (21.8 avg.)...He finished 2nd on the team (9th in the MWC) with 3 INTs, which he returned 36 yards and scored on a blocked punt return (17 yards)...Martin was named the National Defensive Player of the Week by the Bronko Nagurski Award committee following his outstanding performance against Ole Miss on 9/25/04, as he posted a season-high 9 tackles, had a career-high 7 PD and had a spectacular, diving INT in the end zone to thwart a potentially game-tying drive by the Rebels.
