Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer Dennis held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Research In Motion since 1995. During his tenure at RIM he has overseen the companys listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ as well 5 equity offerings totalling $1.8 billion US. RIM is part of the TSX 100 and 300 indexes and the NASDAQ 100 index.
Dennis is a Chartered Accountant finishing first in Canada on the CICA Uniform Final Examination. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Prior to joining RIM in March 1995 Dennis held various positions in the corporate finance group at KPMG. Dennis is currently treasurer of the Centre for International Governance Innovation in Waterloo. |
