Dennis W. Daniels is Senior Vice President, Human Resources for SGI. He is responsible for developing and executing worldwide strategies and programs to attract and retain world class talent; optimize organization design and effectiveness; develop high potential talent and successors to key positions; define performance and reward metrics that drive decisions, behaviors and performance resulting in the profitability and growth of SGI. Prior to joining SGI in April 2006, Mr. Daniels was Corp. Vice President, Human Resources, as an expatriate in Singapore, for STATS ChipPAC Ltd., a global leader in the assembly, testing and packaging of semiconductors. During his 28 years in human resources, Mr. Daniels has also held executive positions in Solectron, Enron, Chase Manhattan and PepsiCo, which have enabled him to develop strong competencies in compensation design, organization design, succession planning, organization development, training, executive development, international Human Resources and performance management. Prior to his career in human resources, Mr. Daniels was an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Daniels earned a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 1975 and a Master of Public Administration degree in Personnel and Industrial Relations from the University of Missouri in 1981. Mr. Daniels has two grown daughters and one granddaughter and resides with his wife in San Jose, CA. |
