Dennis R. Sheehan is a senior advisor to Financial Technology Ventures and an adjunct professor at the graduate school of Adelphi University. Till January 2004, Dennis served as the President and CEO as well as a member of the Board of Directors of The BISYS Group, Inc. Dennis also held other leadership positions at BISYS including Senior Vice President of Finance, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer since the time he joined them in 1995. While CEO at the BISYS Group, he also served on the Listed Company Advisory Committee to the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to working with BISYS Dennis was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Concord Holding Corporation. During that time, he played a major role in taking Concord public and arranging its sale to The BISYS Group. He has also held several leadership positions with The Equitable Life Assurance Corporation including President and Chief Executive Officer with Equico Securities and as Chief Financial Officer for the Asset Management Group for PaineWebber. Previously Dennis has worked with SCM Corporation and KPMG Peat Marwick.
Dennis holds an MBA from New York University and a bachelor degree from Iona College. |
