Dennis J. (DJ) Withee is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Firm's Energy and Derivatives Markets Practice Group, where his practice focuses on representing investment banks, hedge funds, commercial banks, energy producers and energy marketing companies in a variety of transactional, regulatory and risk management matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, DJ was an attorney at an international investment bank where he negotiated and drafted master agreements covering a wide range of products including commodities, foreign exchange and fixed income derivatives. He also has experience servicing hedge funds, utilities and corporate clientele. Additionally, DJ served as a State Representative in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1998-2000.
DJ is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, and the District of Columbia.
