Dennis DuBose is a Shareholder in the firm with over 22 years of experience in providing accounting, audit, tax planning and compliance, and management advisory services to privately held companies. Dennis began in public accounting with the regional firm of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland in Mobile. He transferred to Birmingham in 1988 and has been principal of the firm since 1992. His comprehensive service model begins with a strong foundation of traditional accounting services enhanced with business consulting to meet the unique needs of his clients. His industry specializations include timber and real estate investment, automotive dealerships, wholesale distribution, and burial and funeral industries. He has extensive experience working with timber investment management organizations (TIMOs)who are involved in acquisition and management of timberlands for institutional investors. He assists TIMO clients in many aspects of their business including investment entity structures, tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, financing and hedging transactions, and investment return analysis. During his tenure at DH&W, Dennis has demonstrated leadership through involvement in the firm's internal technology development and marketing committees. Dennis serves as the firm’s technology principal responsible for internal technology development and management, as well as being the manager of the firm’s finance and accounting outsourcing business unit.
