Dennis D. (Denny) Oklak is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Duke Realty Corporation. Duke Realty is one of the largest owners and developers of commercial property in the United States and a NYSE listed company with over $8 billion in total market capitalization. Mr. Oklak serves as head of the Company’s Executive Committee, overseeing the strategic direction of the Company, and its Investment Committee with responsibility for approving major capital transactions.
Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in April 2004, Mr. Oklak served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from January 2003 where he was responsible for all real estate operations of the Company. Mr. Oklak joined Duke Realty in 1986 and served in various roles throughout the Company including Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President and Treasurer.
Prior to joining Duke Realty, Mr. Oklak spent nine years with Deloitte, a global auditing and consulting firm.
Mr. Oklak received his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from Ball State University.
Mr. Oklak serves on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and Monaco Coach Corporation, a publicly traded recreational vehicle manufacturer. Mr. Oklak is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of Ball State University’s Miller College of Business. |
