Dennis Francis has 26-years of experience as a professional engineer, senior technical manager and operating manager in major telecom corporations that include Southwestern Bell, Ericsson, Nortel, Vanguard Cellular Systems, AT&T Wireless, US Wireless and Nextel. Mr. Francis worked with Mr. Leeolou at Vanguard from 1992 - 1999 as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer where he was in charge of all technology development, cellular and IT systems deployment and technical operations, and managed an annual capital budget of up to $75 million. While at Nextel from 2001 to 2005, Mr. Francis was responsible for all IT systems supporting sales, marketing, customer service/operations and new products and had budget responsibility of up to $200 million annually. Mr. Francis is a licensed Professional Engineer and served on President Bush’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) in 2002 and 2003. He received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Texas-Arlington. |
