Prior to joining the board of directors of FNSTAR, Ms. Chrapaty was the Senior Vice President of Technology for Organic, Inc. with a proven track record of success. She previously served as the president and chief operating officer of E*TRADE Technologies, a subsidiary of E*TRADE Group, Inc., where she designed and deployed an industry-leading technology infrastructure, an accomplishment that earned her Information Week's CIO of the Year Award in 1998 and the Smithsonian Award for Technical Excellence. As president and COO of AllBusiness Inc., she built an organization that continues to be the leader in small business online services. Her past experience also includes executive positions at the National Basketball Association, EMI Records Group, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Ms. Chrapaty holds an MBA from New York University's Leonard Stern School of Business. She also volunteered her time as president of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Society of Information Management (SIM) and served as technical advisor to Sun Microsystems as part of their EMC Advisory Council. In addition, she served as a technical advisor to Brokat Systems (formerly Blaze Software), Critical Path, and Digital Island. |
