As a tax partner, Deb helps ensure her clients are in compliance and identifies opportunities for minimizing liabilities by providing proactive tax planning services and advice. In addition to specializing in corporate, partnership, and individual tax issues, Deb is responsible for the review of tax returns, calculation of federal and state estimated tax payments, preparation of FAS 109 work papers and audit report disclosures, and research of tax issues. Deb directs the Malone & Bailey team in navigating all the tax needs of her clients who count on the expertise and responsiveness of the Malone & Bailey staff. Deb’s public accounting experience ranges from working for Big 4 accounting firms, including Deloitte and Touche, LLP, Ernst & Young, LLP, and Arthur Andersen, LLP, to acting as the tax manager overseeing the Emerging Business Group for Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches, LLP and as a partner for Calhoun & Co., LLP. Deb earned her B.B.S. in business administration from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. |
