Deborah Howard serves as General Counsel for ATD. Ms. Howard is responsible for all legal matters at ATD, including contract drafting and negotiation, keeping ATD abreast of changing rules and regulations, helping draft comment letters, and working closely on compliance related matters. Ms. Howard also continues to serve as Assistant Director of Compliance. Ms. Howard was previously Assistance General Counsel for Bank of America, where she supervised outside counsel and handled all litigation and arbitration matters for its retail broker-dealer affiliate. In this position, Ms. Howard was also responsible for advising compliance officers, conducting educational employee presentations to prevent litigation and arbitration, and general regulatory compliance issues. Prior to Bank of America, Ms. Howard held positions within Raymond James and Merrill Lynch. Ms. Howard earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. |
