Debbie J. Brandt is a member of the Milhouse & Neal senior management team. Debbie is a certified public accountant, certified valuation analyst (CVA) and consultant. She possesses more than twenty years of experience in taxation, business valuations, and accounting and auditing. After earning her designation as a Certified Valuation Analyst (a designation which is currently only held by 1% of CPAs nationwide), Debbie has become heavily involved in business valuations and litigation support. As the Director of Tax & Valuation Services she heads up the firm’s valuation team. Debbie has worked closely with clients in many different industries including construction, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, medicine, law, and other service industries, just to name a few. Her responsibilities have included management of client engagements for a number of her previous firms’ largest and most complex clients, supervision and training of staff and completion of special projects.Debbie graduated summa cum laude from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri in 1985 where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a Minor in Mathematics. Debbie was a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society. She received her CPA certificate in 1986 and her CVA certification in 1999. Debbie is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri and exceeds the annual requirements of the Continuing Professional Education program of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, she keeps up-to-date on current business valuation practices and theory by attending continuing education programs in the business valuation field each year. She has developed educational materials and presented several instructional workshops on increasing the value of your business and, developing and implementing an exit strategy. Debbie has also served as an instructor for business valuation seminars sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as other organizations. She is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Debbie is also a member of the St. Louis Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association where she served as President. Debbie is an integral part of our senior management team and utilizes her extensive experience to help our clients improve their performance and increase their company’s profitability.Debbie’s hobbies include softball, golf, reading, and spectator sports.
