Dean Blakeney was appointed as CEO of Clinton Aluminum and Stainless Steel in 2007. Dean joins Clinton from Aleris, where he was most recently the director of marketing for the aluminum rolled products division. Previously he served as the general manager of Corus Aluminum in North America. Prior to Corus, he was with Denso, a large Japanese automotive components supplier located in Great Britain. During his 13 year tenure at Denso, Dean served in various leadership roles in the purchasing and supply, materials management, and production planning areas. Dean is a mechanical engineer from the City & Guilds of London, and he holds an MBA from the University of Huddersfield in Yorkshire, England. |
