Dean R. Zakos, Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of the company since May, 2001, joined Modine in 1982 as Corporate Counsel. In January 1992, Mr. Zakos, was named Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary.Prior to Modine, he was a staff attorney with the Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and before that, he was an associate in a law firm.Born in 1953, Mr. Zakos received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1976. He graduated from the Marquette University Law School in 1979.Mr. Zakos is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, a member and past President of the Board of Governors of the Wisconsin chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, a past director and past President of the YMCA of Racine, and a director of St. Catherine’s High School Corporation.Mr. Zakos has participated in numerous forums and panel discussions regarding business and corporate law. |
