Dr. David Weber joined Abiomed in 2007 as the Company's Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Weber brings more than 15 years of management experience, including 13 years with GE Healthcare, where he most recently held the position of General Manager of GE Security’s Aviation and Transportation Business. He previously held the position of General Manager of Magnetic Resonance (MR) Marketing, a greater than $1 billion business within GE Medical Systems. He has also held several positions in marketing, clinical application development and product development. Prior to joining GE, Dr. Weber completed a post-doctoral assignment at the University of Wisconsin in Madison where he received his Master of Science Degree and Ph.D. in Medical Physics. He has Bachelor of Science Degrees in Physics from Denison University and in Nuclear Engineering from Columbia University School of Engineering. |
