David is the Chief Financial Officer of Legacy Pharmaceuticals International. Prior to joining Legacy David worked for Valeant Pharmaceuticals and its predecessor company ICN Pharmaceuticals from 1994 to 2007. He served as Vice President, Operations Finance of Global Manufacturing and Supply for Valeant Pharmaceuticals International from April 2003 to June 2007 based in California USA. He relocated his family with Valeant from the UK to California in July 2003. He was actively involved in Valeants restructuring program from 2003 to 2007 when it sold 9 of 13 manufacturing sites. Prior to moving to the US with Valeant, David was Vice President, Finance for Europe and latterly also had responsibility for AAA (Asia, Australasia, Africa & Middle East). During the period from 1994 to 2003 Valeant saw major growth of the European & AAA regions through internal growth, company acquisitions and product acquisitions and revenues rose from $60m in 1994 to revenues over $200m in 2003. David was responsible for the development of the finance organization in Europe during this period of growth. He was actively involved in supporting the European business development activities. Prior to joining Valeant Mr. Tearle worked for Touche Ross (now part of Deloitte) in the UK in Birmingham, London and Thames Valley from 1981 to 1994. Mr. Tearle received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and is a UK Chartered Accountant. |
