David Spence is Vice President, Controller of Corus Entertainment. He joined Nelvana Limited in November 1999, was appointed Corporate Controller of Corus Entertainment in June 2003 and was promoted to Vice President, Controller in February 2005.
Mr. Spence has several years experience in financial reporting, and in addition to Corus has held progressively more senior positions at Price Waterhouse and Sherritt International Corporation.
Mr. Spence holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University. He is a chartered accountant, and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Emerging Issues Committee. Mr. Spence also sits on the board of several not-for-profit organizations.
