Mr. Schofield joined NorthMarq Capital in September 2003 when NorthMarq acquired the mortgage banking division of Legg Mason Real Estate Services (LMRES) where he was employed since 1992. Mr. Schofield is currently Senior Vice President and Managing Director for NorthMarq’s Orlando and Jacksonville Regional Offices. He is responsible for the loan production activities of the Orlando and Jacksonville offices. In addition to originating commercial real estate loans and securing equity investments for all types of income producing properties, other duties include institutional investor relations, analysis of market trends and overall responsibility for the offices’ achievement of annual budgetary goals. Prior to joining LMRES, Mr. Schofield held the same position for 10 years with Southeast Mortgage Company. Mr. Schofield has in total 30 years experience in commercial real estate, both as a lender and as a mortgage banker. Mr. Schofield is a graduate of Stetson University where he received an MBA and a BA degree with a major in finance. He is a licensed real estate salesperson and licensed mortgage broker in the state of Florida and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. |
