Duties and Responsibilities
David is a partner in the firm's tax department in Irvine.
Professional Experience
David has been practicing in the tax arena since 1995. He began his career in the tax departments of Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche, and most recently worked as the Tax and Finance Manager for the family office of one of Forbes 400 Wealthiest Americans before joining KMJ. David has served both public and privately held companies in over his career, including Allergan, Oakley, Standard Pacific Homes, ISTA Pharmaceuticals, Medieval Times, and ViewSonic. His clients cover a diverse background of industries including health sciences/pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, distribution, real estate, technology, and professional services. He has extensive tax planning experience for corporations and family held businesses, mergers & acquisitions, and FAS 109 consulting.
Education and Credentials
David received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton with a concentration in Accounting. He has also received his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California where he concentrated in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
