David Printz is Vice President and Chief Information Officer serving since September 2003.
Before his arrival at Central DuPage Hospital, Mr. Printz was the Director of Sales for the Midwest Region of Skylight Systems, Inc. in San Diego, CA where he sold state-of-the-art digital equipment interactive communication systems to healthcare executives.
From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Printz served as a consultant and experienced supplier of information technology.
From 1979 to 2000, Mr. Printz served as Vice President and CIO of MacNeal Health Network, Berwyn. Illinois, where he oversaw direction of Information Services, Telecommunications and Facility Services. He retired from MacNeal in 2000.
Mr. Printz earned his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Masters degree in Personnel Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Printz has served on the ACT Committee for the College of DuPage; the Foundation Board of the College of DuPage; the metro Chicago HIMSS/CIO Roundtable; the Board of Directors of The Suburban Library System of Illinois. the Editorial Advisory Board of "Advance for Health Information Executives"; and the professional Advisory board of Netsteps, Inc., the Diatek Corporation. the Azron Corporation, Micromedex.
