David Prince started his career at Cable & Wireless, where he had both general management and group marketing roles. He then went on to spend twelve years in the telecommunications industry in Hong Kong, where he held various senior management and board positions in public companies. From 1994 to 2000 he worked for Hong Kong Telecom, first as Group Finance Director and then as Deputy CEO. In 2000, David Prince joined PCCW plc, Hong Kong, as Group CFO, before being appointed Group Finance Director of Cable & Wireless in 2002.
