David Price is the president of L-3 Pulse Sciences with operations in San Leandro, Watsonville and San Diego, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico. This organization combines the talents of the three pre-eminent industrial pulsed power operations, Physics International, Pulse Sciences and Maxwell. Each of the organizations can trace a long, successful track record spanning 40 years. Pulse Sciences’ products are used worldwide to support leading-edge research in advanced radiography, radiation effects, sterilization, advanced accelerators, high power microwaves, electromagnetic pulse and lightning simulation and was acquired by L-3 in August 2005 (as part of the Titan acquisition). Mr. Price joined the company in 1985 as a staff physicist, has worked there continuously since, and now, has profit and loss and management responsibilities for all aspects of L-3 PS’s service and product development government and commercial businesses. He serves as a member of the Pulsed Power Science & Technology board of directors. Mr. Price has a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis, and has completed Executive and Business Management programs at Stanford University. |
