Mr. Palmer comes to WorthPoint from a distinguished career in telecommunications and broadband sales management and business development. He is Founder and President of TrueBroadband, a consulting firm focused on delivering network services to business clients. Previously, Mr. Palmer pioneered teledensity in Jamaica, WI for MiPhone, was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Memphis Networx, and was Vice President of Sales at Evolution Networks -- an innovative, venture-backed, broadband startup. Mr. Palmer s prior experience includes four years as director of Global Marketing and Strategic accounts for GTE, where he built a team to generate hundreds of millions in new annual revenue from Fortune 100 enterprises. His 17 years at MCI culminated as Vice President of Carrier Business and Special Accounts for the Southeast USA Division. Mr. Palmer earned his BS in Mathematics and Physics at Clark Atlanta University. He is, and has been, active in numerous nonprofit endeavors, including the American Marketing Association, the Prairie View A&M University Black Families Symposium, and service as the Houston District Commissioner of the Boy Scouts of America. |
