Born and raised in Toronto, David began his career after college in the commercial building products business. He grew sales at the Ontario Acoustic Supply Company from $2 million to $13 million, building the company into one of the largest wholesalers in Canada and positioning the firm for acquisition. He and his family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, and between 1989 and 1998, he founded and built two companies: a manufacturer of consumer products and a residential retrofit company. In both he raised capital, established organizational structure, and built sales teams.
Subsequently, David continued his career with The Continuum Group as an executive search consultant, recruiting for the healthcare and technology sectors. Later, he joined the global firm of A. T. Kearney Executive Search, specializing in the technology sector in their Redwood Shores, California office. He joined T.
