David Kirby, Overture's Vice President of Higher Education, works directly with Universities and channel partners offering Student Financial Aid automation solutions.
Most recently, David was Overture's Vice President of Engineering. He joined Overture after spending a year as an independent consultant to Fortune 100 financial institutions.
David has extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise applications, as well as leading software development teams. Prior to consulting, David was the Director of Product Development at Inline Software, where he led and managed a cross functional team in designing Inline's next generation pattern and component based J2EE development tool.
Prior to Inline Software, David was a Senior Consultant at Fannie Mae, leading the ShAReS Mortgage Servicing Web Application Team. This e-Commerce application reduced the cost of servicing reverse mortgage portfolios by 30 percent. David also worked at Proxicom, and Digicon where he developed a custom object-oriented document imaging system for the Department of Defense. David has degrees in history and computer applications from the University of Notre Dame. |
