David Kernen is a lifelong resident of Montgomery county graduating from Villisca high school and Iowa State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. David served in the army and completed a tour in Vietnam as an Artillery 1st lt. before discharge.
The return to civilian life brought him back to the family farm operation until he joined R. G. Dickinson as a commodity broker in 1983. David soon expanded his services to include the full range of financial service products as well as insurance. He moved to BDF investments in 1995 with Broker Dealer Financial Services purchase of Dickinson & Co.
David and his wife Lenora are the parents of four daughters and five grandchildren. |
