Before taking on a national role for CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, David served as general sales manager for the University of Maryland’s sports marketing program, where he brought more than $8 million in corporate sales and initiated unique programs for Terrapin sponsors. Prior to joining the CBS family, David was director of licensing and merchandising and handled corporate sales and marketing for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Teams in Park City, UT. His clients included VISA, Kodak, United Airlines, Nike and L.L. Bean. He also served six years as a communication officer in the United States Army in Korea, Germany and Virginia.David holds a master’s degree from Ohio University’s Sports Administration & Facility Management Program and an undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University. He lives in Crozet, VA, with his wife, Kelly, and two young daughters. |
