The Baltimore, Md., native is in his 14th overall season with the Tides and his 13th as Director of Group Sales. The Group Sales portion of the Tides' effort is quite diverse and dynamic by incorporating so many options for a vast array of groups. Dave also handles the Fireworks coordination and is responsible for big event nights at the ballpark such as Military Appreciation Night, Marine Corps Night and Scout Nights. Before moving into the baseball industry, the cousin of former major league great and former Tides manager Toby Harrah spent thirty years in the U.S. Navy. He then moved on to work for Andrulis Research Corp as a Government communications specialist. Dave attended both Florida Southern College and the Norfolk extension of St. Leo's (Fla.) University. He now resides in Virginia Beach with his wife Judy and son Matthew. |
